DRDO Essay Competition 2017
DRDO National Level Essay Competition 2017 – Defence Research & Development Organization is organizing a national level essay competition for students on completion of 60 years journey of its establishment. There are following two categories –
Category I – School Students (9th to 12th Class)
Category II – Under Graduates/ Post Graduates Studnets
Topic for the Essary – DRDO : Achievements and Way Ahead/ डी आर डी ओ : उपलब्धियां और आगे का मार्ग
Language – Hindi OR English
Participants can submit their entries online/ by post or e-mail to drdoessay2017@gmail.com
Submission Period – 1st Nov 2017 to 5th Dec 2017
Prizes – 60 Cash Prizes for Rs. 2000/- each
Rules and guidelines for National Level Essay Competition 2017
Young scientists of DRDO propose to conduct the National Level Essay Competition 2017 for students pursuing school, college, under-graduates & Post-graduates degree.
Total 60 essay will be selected for prize distribution and online publication. Thirty Essays each from both the categories will be selected for a cash reward of Rs. 2000/- each. The prize winners shall also be given a certificate each. names of the winners will be published on DRDO website.
There are two type of student category with different word limit.
Category I – Would include secondary & Senior Secondary recognized school students i.e. from class 9th to class 12th. (Maximum words 1000)
Category II – Would include recognized college/ university/ institute students pursuing graduation, post graduation. (Maximum words 2000)
Essay entries submitted by the participants must be accompanied with a copy of student Identity Card. Entries received without a copy of student Identity Card shall be summarily rejected and no query; correspondence etc. pertaining to such entries shall be entertained.
Employees of DRDO are not eligible to participate in this competition.
There is no any national essay competition registration/ entry fee.
The essay should be the original work and it should not be copied from anywhere.
Format of Essay – Typed on A4 size electronic page. Font size shall be 12 points(English) in Arial and 12 points(Hindi) in Mangal. 1.5 interlinear space. Margins of each inch on all the four sides.
Procedures for the submission of Essay – The entries can be submitted online on DRDO website or emailed at drdoessay2017@gmail.com latest by 5th Dec 2017.
