Compliance Plate in CNG/LPG Vehicles in Delhi
What is Compliance Plate – The compliance plate is part of the CNG/LPG Kit and should be fitted by the kit installer at NO EXTRA COST. All Retro-fitment centers authorized by the Transport Department, Government of NCT of Delhi have already been directed to ensure compliance of above instructions. It is an indicator for the CNG providers at the CNG Station indicating that your cylinder is safe. They are supposed to check the compliance plate before filling the CNG. It is provided when you get your CNG cylinder Hydro Tested.
As per the Transport Department, Government of NCT of Delhi Compliance plate in CNG/LPG Vehicles is necessary for public safety. In case, compliance plant is not already installed, the vehicle owner may contact the concerned centre for needful.

Process of Issuance of Compliance Plate – Ideally, this compliance plate should be issued during the time of installation only. Still, on cars which do not have it need to submit. Copy of RC (with endorsed CNG) along with insurance (with endorsed CNG), CNG installation invoice along with issuance form need to be submitted to any of the approved Fitment Centre.
CNG Fitment Centre will do testing and inspection as per prescribed guidelines. If vehicle found fit for same with no leakage or issue – CNG compliance plate been issued.
